Perfect logistics for optimal flow of goods
Quick, clear and efficient control for all of your goods movements from the moment you receive an order. Do you have multiple warehouse locations? Or do you sell goods which your drop shipping supplier sends on your behalf? Are your goods in the container on their way to you? All of these scenarios and many more can be handled for you by the CommerceEngine in conjunction with the logistics module.

The eF|CommerceEngine can operate independently of other systems: with no need for warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERPs and no connections to logistics specialists, shipping agents or suppliers, you can keep your logistics management as flexible as possible, including when it comes to product origins and product management.

Inventory management at a warehouse level
Connection to external WMS
Straightforward and simple administration for different warehouses. It’s also easy to integrate special warehouses, for instance floating storage units for imports from the APAC regions. In addition you can integrate your own warehouses as well as third-party warehouse facilities and stocks.
A virtual warehouse is connected up between a physical warehouse and a sales channel. This enables a much finer level of control when it comes to stocks: with a virtual warehouse you can work out how high your physical stock levels are – minus miscellaneous reservations, floating orders etc. This means that you can always establish what your ATP (available to promise) for a particular sales channel is, i.e. the quantity of goods available for sale. Within eF|CE you can create and manage as many virtual warehouses as you like. There are numerous configuration options available at a warehouse and product level: including minimum stock levels, reorder level, product blocking, relative distribution of additions to stock etc.
As well as establishing warehouse stocks at a physical level, the ATP (available to promise) quantity is also calculated. The ATP quantity for each sales channel is calculated taking into account reservations, pending incoming and outgoing stock movements, safety stock levels and the allocation of virtual warehouses to the relevant sales channel. Sales channels can be automatically provided with inventory data.
Serial number administration
Administration of notified events
Notified incoming stock additions are managed centrally in a notifications pool. Amongst other things, you can store the expected date of receipt, the type of notification and a date from when the notified stock movement should be included in the ATP calculation. This enables you to sell notified pending stocks even before they are actually available.
Relocation across all warehouses
Generating credit notes and replacement deliveries can in part be handled automatically by the system. Automatic notifications help keep the customer up to date while the product return is being handled.
